Job summary

FleetWorks in San Francisco is seeking a Head of Solutions Engineering to own the technical customer journey from onboarding to implementation and custom builds that power our brokers’ core operations.

You will run the most important deployments, set client expectations, and build playbooks with engineering and product. This role requires hands‑on configuration, strong communication, and leadership of the deployment team.

Qualifications

• Experience owning implementation or other technical customer‑facing delivery in B2B software.
• Ability to coach others on customer relationships and trust engineers.
• Technical aptitude to learn a complex product, configure workflows, and read an integration.

Responsibilities

• Own customer deployments end to end from onboarding through go‑live and steady‑state adoption.
• Scope work into clear, realistic requirements engineering for integrations and workflows.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to reduce engineering handoffs and accelerate delivery.
• Train and enable customers with documentation and self‑serve resources.
• Build and maintain a cross‑functional deployment tracking system for status updates and escalations.
• Lead and develop the deployment team, starting with the deployment strategist.
