Job summary

FleetWorks in Chicago is seeking a Head of Deployments to oversee onboarding and implementation for our B2B freight software. You will own the customer deployments end-to-end, coordinate across engineering, product, and customer success, and ensure smooth go-lives and adoption.

You will write the playbook from real-world learnings, set scope and expectations, and build documentation that helps customers self-serve.

Qualifications

• Experience owning implementation or technical customer-facing delivery in B2B software.
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear requirements for engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Owns and coaches cross-functional teams across CS, Eng, and Product.

Responsibilities

• Own Customer Deployments from onboarding to go-live and adoption.
• Scope work and manage expectations between customers and engineering.
• Build a cross-functional project management system for Product, CS, and Engineering.
• Write playbooks and develop documentation that enables self-serve.
• Lead deployment team and grow capabilities, starting with the deployment strategist.
• Partner with product to train customers and ensure seamless handoffs.
