Job summary

Onebrief, a distributed team delivering AI-powered workflow software for military planning, seeks a Solutions Engineer in the United States with remote options. You will own technical solution design, deployment readiness, and secure architectures, partnering with Platform Engineering, SRE, and Cybersecurity to validate infrastructure and transition deployments to production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong expertise with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises virtualization (RHEL).
Experience in DoW environments and their security and compliance requirements (RMF, STIGs, ICD 503).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, or Bash) and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

Run technical discovery with Sales and Engineering to map current workflows and identify constraints.
Lead deployment engineering, including infrastructure validation and environment configuration; write code for deployments.
Support accreditation by creating and reviewing security documentation with cybersecurity teams.
