Your role at Dynatrace

What’s the role? As a Dynatrace Log Management and Analytics Solutions Engineer, you will be a key member of the Dynatrace sales team, providing technical support and expertise in Log Management and Analytics. Your responsibilities include executing demos, managing POCs, building customer relationships, and supporting RFIs and RFPs. You will collaborate with teams such as Dynatrace’s innovation labs, Expert Services, CSMs, and marketing.

About You

To succeed, you should be ambitious, confident, self-motivated, with previous experience in Solution Engineering or a similar technical customer-facing role. You should be passionate about technology, sales, and articulating value to customers. Additional qualities include:

• Excellent team player with cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills, translating technical value into business value
• 3-5 years experience with log analytics technologies
• Troubleshooting skills and project management ability
• Desire for professional growth and adaptability
• Willingness to travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Promote Dynatrace’s products at trade shows and customer meetings
• Identify new sales opportunities with sales teams
• Participate in POCs and cloud architecture discussions
• Present to C-suite executives
• Guide customers through discovery and solution evaluation stages
• Deliver on-stage demonstrations at events
• Gather customer feedback for product improvement
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team
• Identify learning opportunities with leadership support

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years experience with observability and log pipelines (e.g., FluentBit, OpenTelemetry, Logstash)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of query languages (SQL, SPL, KQL)
• Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and programming languages (Java, .NET, etc.)
• Operating Systems (Windows, Linux)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation tools
