Job summary

Relay is seeking a Solutions Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 at our Raleigh, NC HQ. You will learn how technical discovery, solution design, and demonstrations fit into the pre‑sales process, while working with experienced engineers and cross‑functional partners.

You will document workflows, test Relay configurations, support demos and proofs of concept, and create reusable assets. This on‑site internship offers mentorship, real ownership, and a final project presentation to leadership.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a technical degree (engineering/CS/IS/data science) with strong coursework.
• Graduation planned for December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Competitive GPA (3.5+) preferred.
• Relevant technical coursework, labs, internships, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Learn customer discovery and solution design.
• Document workflows, pain points, and requirements from sessions.
• Assist Solutions Engineers to translate needs into Relay configurations and diagrams.
• Support demos, PoCs, and IT architecture discussions.
• Create documentation and reusable enablement assets (diagrams, guides, checklists).
• Own a scoped summer project and present findings to leaders.
