Job summary

Hack The Box is seeking a Solutions Engineer in the United States to bridge technical knowledge with practical client value across consulting, penetration testing, and security operations. You will report to the Senior Director, Global Solutions Engineering and work with cross-functional teams to drive successful technical wins.

You will deliver tailored product demos, guide value-led trials, and build strong relationships with customer stakeholders while expanding HTB content expertise.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role as a Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar in the Cybersecurity space.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS models and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Relentless curiosity and hunger for learning.
  • Natural ability to converse and build rapport with everyone from practitioners to executives.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Past experience with Channel Partners in the EMEA region is a plus.
  • Past work in Technical Consulting, Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, DFIR, or related fields is a strong asset.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CJCA, CDSA, CPTS, CEH, OSCP, CISSP).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver tailored and impactful product demos to new prospects and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers on deal strategy and paths to a technical win.
  • Guide customers through value-led trials and evaluations of Hack The Box offerings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer technical stakeholders to ensure ongoing success.
  • Conduct Hack The Box workshops and professional trainings.
  • Develop deep SME knowledge by diving into HTB content.
  • Provide technical story-based consultations and deliverables to clients.

You'll report to the Senior Director, Global Solutions Engineering, and collaborate extensively with various departments, including Content Development, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Infrastructure, and Analytics. Your role is crucial in bridging technical knowledge and practical application to help our clients realize exceptional results and value from our offerings.
