Job summary

Airswift represents an innovative energy storage technology company seeking a Solutions Engineer - Energy Storage to bridge customers, EPC partners, and internal engineering teams.

You will design, deploy, and support Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) from development through commissioning and commercial operation, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years in battery energy storage, solar, power systems, UPS, switchgear, generators, or related electrical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience reviewing electrical one-line diagrams, construction drawings, and system designs.
• Ability to travel approximately 20–30%.
• PE license and direct BESS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers, EPCs, utilities, and installation partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support business development by developing technical solutions and participating in customer discussions.
• Design and size Battery Energy Storage Systems based on load profiles, resiliency goals, and project economics.
• Develop system architectures, layouts, and technical documentation to support project execution.
• Coordinate with EPCs, contractors, and installation partners to review drawings and provide technical guidance.
• Support commissioning, startup, acceptance testing, and troubleshooting to ensure safe operation.
• Assist customers with interconnection, permitting, and AHJ review processes.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to improve offerings and deployment processes.
• Develop scalable engineering processes, training materials, and installation guides.

• Assist customers with utility interconnection, permitting, and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) review processes.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to improve product offerings, deployment processes, and technical standards based on customer and field feedback.
• Develop scalable engineering processes, training materials, installation guides, and best practices to support continued company growth.
