Job summary

Havant Borough Council seeks a seasoned Solutions Developer to provide professional applications support, integrations and digital development across council products, ensuring ICT and cyber security meet the organisation’s needs.

You will work with the Digital Services Team to deliver BAU, contract and special projects, driving value for money and helping shape future services for residents across local government.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience working in IT.
• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.
• Experience with Windows 11, Windows Server, and cloud/SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support and catalogue council digital solutions for efficient processes.
• Lead ICT change management, testing and deployment with external partners.
• Coordinate 3rd party ICT services, contracts and procurement activity.
• Create user and admin documentation for supported applications.
• Provide technical guidance to service users, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Support data management disciplines including data quality and governance.
• Act as ICT liaison to ensure day-to-day service delivery meets needs.
