Job summary

Encore Capital Group is seeking a Sr. Solutions Developer to design, configure, operate, and maintain Pega Cloud Platform Applications. You’ll analyze processes and advise on solutions to meet business goals.

Responsibilities include partnering with business and technical teams, leading testing, ensuring performance, and promoting Pega methodologies across teams. Strong communication and multi-project management are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 5+ years as a systems architect or in a similar IT role.
  • Experience with enterprise-level, model-driven solutions is preferred.

About the Job

A Sr. Solutions Developer is a senior role in charge of designing, configuring, operating, and maintaining Pega Cloud Platform Applications. They objectively analyze desired processes and outcomes and advise on the right solutions to achieve specific business, department, team, or functional goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with both the business and the technical teams to develop high quality deliverables across all phases of application configuration and delivery.
  • Lead testing and ensure that the delivered work product is fully-functioning, performs to business requirements defined and approved by the business, and meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Develop and deliver solutions to ensure high availability and performance expectations.
  • Proactively drive the education and drive the use of Pega systems' methodology among business teams and teammates.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's FIELD OF STUDY: Computer science or relevant field
  • EXPERIENCE: 5+ years as a systems architect or in a similar IT role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Pega Cloud Systems.
  • Experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate systems architecture processes and trends.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience working with diverse teams of technical architects, business users, and IT teams on all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to learn complex material quickly and manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Ability to explain new concepts and technology to both business & IT stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • CERTIFICATION(S): CSA Certification
