Job description

As we grow, we are looking for talented individuals to join our team and help us build innovative solutions for our clients.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions Architect to join our technical pre-sales team.

This role involves engaging with potential customers to understand their technical challenges, crafting tailored solutions using our products, and guiding them through a successful onboarding process. You will be the technical expert in sales engagements, bridging the gap between customer needs and our product capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify technical opportunities with prospective customers.
  2. Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs, pain points, and goals.
  3. Design and present customized solutions using Unstructured's products and services, demonstrating how they address the client's specific challenges.
  4. Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) projects.
  5. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospects throughout the sales cycle, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding.
  6. Work closely with the product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development.
  7. Create and maintain technical documentation, such as architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and integration guides.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to position Unstructured.io's offerings effectively.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in a technical presales, solutions architect, or similar role, ideally within a SaaS or data-focused company.
  2. Strong knowledge of data ingestion, preprocessing, and analysis technologies, particularly in handling unstructured data.
  3. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and relevant data processing frameworks.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with customers and influence decision-makers.
  6. Experience navigating relationships within complex enterprise organizational structures and garnering strategic alignment between business units.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for designing creative solutions.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  9. Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Experience with AI/ML technologies, natural language processing, or data science.
  2. Familiarity with Python and data integration tools.
  3. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
  4. Prior experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
