Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects, designing scalable, production-grade solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or senior technical role.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture: pipelines, streaming, lakehouse patterns, cloud-native platforms.
• Proficient on the Databricks Platform with a developing specialization in one area.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders.
• Experience with production deployments on public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Track record of driving platform adoption and consumption growth within accounts.
• Excellent communication– translating complex architectures to business value.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment.
• Lead architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
