Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to own the technical strategy for customers, drive platform adoption, and serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects. You will balance deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to position Databricks as the foundation of a customer’s data and AI strategy.

You will develop a technical specialization within the team and lead architecture discussions, spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years across solutions architecture, data engineering, or senior technical roles.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with live coding demonstrated.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture and cloud deployments.
• Experience with the Databricks platform or ability to rapidly achieve proficiency.
• Strong ability to lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery through production deployment.
• Lead complex architecture discussions for scalable, production-grade data/ML/real-time solutions.
• Advise customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors as a trusted technical advisor.
• Drive technical wins by demonstrating differentiation through custom-built solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions.
