HBK CPAs & Consultants seeks a Solutions Architect Manager to lead a small development team and oversee projects across domestic and international teams. You will support mission-critical SQL-based and cloud-enabled applications underpinning accounting, tax, and advisory workflows with a balance of stability and modernization using Azure and AI techniques.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in software development with leadership, strong SQL experience, Azure know-how, and a risk-aware mindset

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise SQL-based applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
• Experience leading small development teams in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of developers, fostering accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct code reviews and provide hands-on technical guidance.

Summary

The Solutions Architect Manager will lead a small team of developers, and project lead other functions (domestically and internationally), responsible for supporting and evolving mission-critical, SQL-based, as well as cloud-based applications that require API access that underpin core accounting, tax, and advisory workflows. This role balances legacy enterprise system stability with thoughtful modernization using Microsoft Azure and emerging AI-enabled development techniques. The ideal candidate understands the regulatory rigor, data sensitivity, and client impact inherent in a large public accounting firm and can lead technology initiatives with a strong risk-aware mindset.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise SQL-based applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.

BENEFITS WE OFFER:

• Salary Range: $110,000-$155,000/year + Annual Bonus
