Job summary

Orbital PM is seeking a senior Solutions Architect IV to lead enterprise project controls systems for a DOE national laboratory, focusing on Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM, WebLogic, and PIF. Hybrid work with on-site events and onboarding inLos Alamos, NM; Q clearance eligibility required.

You will architect and implement SQL Server and Oracle databases, drive complex IT projects, and ensure security, data integrity, and scalable integration with cost management and scheduling capabilities.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM, including implementation, admin, and integration.
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Project Integration Framework (PIF).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle WebLogic for enterprise deployment and admin tasks.
• Expert proficiency with SQL Server (T-SQL) and Oracle RDBMS (PL/SQL).
• Experience managing project controls tool integration environments (estimation, scheduling, cost management).
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong organizational and project management skills.
• Team-building experience with technical teams in complex IT environments.
• A-Level access required; able to meet background investigation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal architect for Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM, WebLogic, and PIF implementations.
• Determine IT requirements and map them to commercial off-the-shelf or internal solutions.
• Architect, implement, and maintain Oracle and SQL Server database environments supporting project controls apps.
• Lead complex IT projects from inception through implementation and handoff.
• Research and evaluate technical solutions across data management, security, and integration.
• Provide architectural direction for enterprise web apps using Oracle WebLogic.
• Maintain environments supporting estimating, scheduling, and cost management functions.
• Align system designs with Laboratory program objectives and long-term sustainability.
• Adhere to Laboratory safety, security, and compliance requirements.
