About The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Solutions Engineer to support an internal infrastructure project focused on building out a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and Tanzu environment. The platform will be used for delivering a series of workshops, and while we have engineers managing the VCF/Tanzu stack, we need an expert who can take ownership of building out the foundational infrastructure—specifically using Terraform with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This is a hands-on consulting engagement for someone who thrives in fast-paced, infrastructure-heavy environments and can hit the ground running with automation and platform provisioning.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to support VCF and Tanzu deployments on GCP.
• Collaborate with internal workshop leads to align infrastructure provisioning with workshop requirements and user scenarios.
• Build reusable Terraform modules and scripts to enable repeatable lab/workshop environments.
• Ensure integration with VMware stack including vSphere, NSX-T, and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG).
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and environment issues across the deployment pipeline.
• Document infrastructure patterns, deployment processes, and best practices.
  
  

What We Want To See:

• Proven experience as a Solutions Engineer, Architect, or Infrastructure Consultant.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform in cloud-native and hybrid environments.
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure components.
• Familiarity with VMware technologies, especially VCF, Tanzu, and NSX-T.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally.
