Job summary

Sompo in the United States is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and govern end-to-end technology solutions aligning with business goals, architecture standards, security requirements, and operational needs.

This role collaborates with business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable, resilient designs across application, data, and infrastructure domains, ensuring delivery meets enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions across insurance, reinsurance and corporate business applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, and security domains.
• Translate business goals, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements into solution architectures and design artifacts.
• Develop high-level and detailed solution designs that clearly define system components, interfaces, dependencies, and operational considerations.
• Ensure that solution designs address scalability, resilience, performance, maintainability, and supportability.
• Define solution options, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend preferred approaches based on business value, technical fit, cost, and risk.
• Provide project approach to project team to develop project plans and schedules. Support project planning process
• Ensure alignment between solution architecture and enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps.
