Advantage Technical is seeking a Solutions Architect (CCIE) in Boston, MA to design, implement, and support enterprise Cisco networks. This onsite, temporary contract role requires hands-on leadership across critical infrastructure projects within a large-scale production environment.

The ideal candidate has CCIE certification and deep experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and enterprise routing/switching, with strong communication and documentation skills to guide internal teams.

Qualifications

• CCIE certification required.
• Extensive experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and IOS-XR environments.
• Strong expertise in enterprise routing and switching; capable of troubleshooting complex networks.
• Experience supporting upgrades, migrations, and change management.
• Knowledge of OSI model Layers 1–4 and data center networking concepts.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, support, and optimize complex Cisco network infrastructures.
• Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues across enterprise environments.
• Manage routing, switching, protocol redistribution, and configuration changes.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle projects.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement performance improvements.

• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Pay Rate: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Type: Temporary Contract (Approx. 4 Months)
