Job summary

PortX is seeking a Solutions Architect to be the customer-facing owner of solution shape. You will run discovery, scope engagements, design against the PortX platform and ORCA reference architecture, and govern delivery so implementations ship on the platform—not around it.

The role emphasizes minimal bespoke code, reusable assets, and fast ramp-up of delivery squads. You will mentor teams, leverage AI tooling, and drive codified standards across engagements.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise integration consulting and implementation experience: APIs, event-driven architecture, integration platforms/iPaaS.
• Fluency in English with excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering, code generation and spec-to-code workflows.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes and GitOps deployment patterns.
• Experience with OpenAPI-first design and web services.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, scoping, solution design, and estimation for integration engagements with templated effort.
• Engage with customers across pre-sales and delivery; elicit business problems and translate into platform-native solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, whiteboarding, and executives presentations.
• Own written solution artifacts (SDDs, ADRs, estimates, DoD) for architecture review and sign-off.
• Govern design fidelity; ensure reuse via templates, connectors, and playbooks; drive architecture governance.
