Location: Hybrid position that is mostly remote: Looking for someone to come on site 1-2 times a month in Janesville, WI

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned ERP Architect with deep experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O and Commerce) or any other ERPs, strong knowledge of retail domain processes, and hands-on architectural expertise integrating with Order management and PIM Systems (ex: Kibo OMS, STIBO PIM) and custom applications built on Azure (AKS, ADLS, Event Hub, Logic Apps). The ideal candidate will also bring knowledge of MDM/CDP (e.g., via Snowflake), ISV integrations with D365, and a familiarity with Power Platform and related ecosystem tools.

The ERP Architect will be responsible for end-to-end solution design and governance, ensuring seamless business process execution, data integrity, and scalable architecture across ERP and supporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and own the end-to-end architecture across ERP (D365 / Oracle / SAP), OMS (ex. Kibo), PIM (ex. STIBO), and custom Azure-based applications.
• Design scalable, modular, and resilient architectures using Azure components like AKS, ADLS Gen2, Event Hubs, Logic Apps, ADF, and Functions.
• Ensure integration strategies are aligned with enterprise data models, performance, and security standards.

ERP Ownership

• Serve as the technical and functional architect for D365 modules across Finance, Supply Chain, Retail, and Commerce.
• Manage ISV solutions and customizations within D365; optimize usage of out-of-the-box capabilities and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Guide technical design and implementation of data migrations, extensions, and interface integrations.

Integration & Ecosystem Management

• Lead integration strategies between D365 and Kibo OMS, STIBO PIM, and other retail systems (e.g., POS, ecommerce platforms).
• Collaborate with teams working on customer data platforms (CDP), Snowflake-based MDM solutions, and customer 360 initiatives.
• Ensure real-time and batch interfaces are designed using Event-driven architecture (Event Hub, Service Bus) and support high availability.
• Define architectural patterns, coding standards, and integration best practices across development teams.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines for D365 customizations and Azure components.
• Experience with Architecture tools like Lucid Charts, ADO and Confluence.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance around security, performance, DR/BCP, and data privacy.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery leads to translate business needs into scalable architecture solutions.
• Provide architectural input for vendor selection, ISV product evaluation, and platform strategy alignment.
• Drive solutioning and estimation for new initiatives, M&A, or regional rollouts.

ERP and supply chain platforms.

· Solid understanding around Order Management, POS, MDM, CDP, Production Information Management areas.

· Deep skills and expertise in Azure Integration Services and different Integration Architectures and patterns. Also Interface governance and design.

• Working knowledge of retail industry processes: merchandising, allocation, replenishment, store ops, and omnichannel fulfillment.
• Understanding of data security, compliance, and identity management in enterprise environments.
• Working experience in architecting hybrid environments like Cloud and OnPrem platforms.
• Experience with Modernizing legacy platforms.
• Experience with Microservices and CI/CD across different platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

Must to Have:

· Minimum 5+ years of experience at Retail and Supply chain industries.

· 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution design with a focus on retail

Nice To Have:

• Experience with D365, Kibo OMS, STIBO PIM…etc
• Technical skills around Power platforms and design.
• Strong knowledge of MDM/CDP platforms, especially using Snowflake as a backend.
• Experience in RFP processes with vendor collaborations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Any of the Solution Architect or relevant Azure certifications.
• Knowledge of global rollout strategies and integrations.
• Exposure on Modernization on legacy platforms.
