Are you a dynamic IT leader with a passion for innovation in healthcare technology? True Rx Health Strategists is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) solutions. As a Solutions Architect, you'll lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge IT systems that drive efficiency, enhance performance, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

As the Solutions Architect, you'll architect and design end-to-end IT solutions that support a wide range of PBM functions, from claims processing and eligibility to formulary management and pharmacy network services. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure successful implementation while aligning with our strategic goals.

Position is 100% remote, with in-office meetings and trainings as needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect & Design Solutions: Develop end-to-end IT solutions for PBM/vendor implementations & operations, including claims processing, eligibility, formulary management, and pharmacy network services.
2. Technical Leadership: Provide expertise and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in system design, security, and scalability.
3. Integration Strategy: Design and oversee API, streaming, and system integration strategies for seamless data exchange across platforms, including health plans, providers, and pharmacies.
4. Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions comply with industry regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, SOC 2) and follow security best practices.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business leaders, product managers, QA, Operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
6. Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency and competitiveness.
7. Documentation & Standards: Develop and maintain architectural standards, best practices, and technical documentation.

What You Bring

1. 7+ years in IT architecture, with at least 3 years in a PBM, healthcare, or payer environment.
2. Technical Expertise:
   • Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
   • Microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven designs
   • Healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, EDI)
   • Database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
   • Enterprise integration patterns, ETL, middleware solutions
   • Security frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, SOC 2)
3. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
4. Analytical mindset with systems thinking and critical problem-solving skills.
