Job Title: Solution Architect – Subscription Management

Job Type: Contract

Location: USA & Canada (Remote, Bay Area preferred)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Subscription Management to lead the implementation and optimization of Oracle Cloud Subscription Management solutions, particularly focused on usage-based billing in eCommerce environments. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable, cloud-based subscription solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Solution Architect/Senior Application Engineer guiding architecture, design, and solution development for usage-based subscription models.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and enterprise architects to deliver seamless subscription experiences.
• Lead the configuration and implementation of Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSS), including advanced usage-based billing features.
• Identify system gaps and design integration solutions, creating prototypes and working closely with technical teams.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle ERP solutions and custom extensions.
• Support and optimize pricing, accounts receivable, and product information configurations.
• Extend Oracle Fusion applications using tools such as OIC, PL/SQL, VBCS, APEX, Groovy, Java, BPM, and Object Workflows.
• Could you make sure that integrations with e-commerce platforms and other enterprise systems are robust?
• Develop reports and scripts using Oracle APIs, Groovy, BI Publisher, OTBI, and FBDI.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment utilizing Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on implementation experience with Oracle Cloud Subscription Management (OSS) focused on pricing and usage-based billing.
• Techno-functional expertise in Oracle Fusion applications including Subscription Management, Pricing, Accounts Receivable, and PIM.
• Proven ability to configure and optimize usage-based subscription models within cloud-based (SaaS) environments.
• Strong understanding of subscription lifecycle processes, including eCommerce integration.
• Proficiency in Oracle technologies: OIC, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, FBDI, Groovy scripting, Java, BPM.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills—ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Preferred:

• Located in or willing to work in Pacific Time (Bay Area candidates preferred).
• Experience in large-scale enterprise eCommerce or SaaS organizations.
• Certification in Oracle Cloud Applications or related technologies.
