Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Solutions Architect to shape end-to-end data solutions from design to deployment in a remote role in the United States. You will partner with engineering teams and clients to craft scalable, secure architectures and translate complex requirements into clear roadmaps and proofs of concept.

Responsibilities include leading data solutions, mentoring engineers, ensuring performance and security, and documenting technical roadmaps and POCs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect or Data Engineer.
• Proven leadership skills with mentoring engineers.
• Experience developing end-to-end technical solutions for production.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Strong SQL skills.

For our client, we are seeking a Solutions Architect to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will shape end-to-end data solutions that are ready for production and aligned to client needs, from initial design through deployment. You will partner closely with engineering teams and clients to create scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures. The position also calls for translating complex technical requirements into clear roadmaps, proofs of concept, and practical implementation guidance.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data solutions using best practices
• Mentor and support engineering team members
• Ensure performance, security, scalability, and robust integration of data solutions
• Develop detailed solution documentation including POCs and technical roadmaps
• Facilitate client communication through presentations and detailed discussions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience as a Solutions Architect or Data Engineer
• Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring engineers
• Expertise in developing end‑to‑end technical solutions for production
• Proficiency in programming with Java, Python, or Scala
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms like Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks, and GCP
• Strong SQL skills for creating, debugging, and optimizing queries
• Excellent client-facing communication skills, both written and verbal
