Job summary

Athena Intelligence in New York City seeks a Solutions Architect to be the technical voice in the market. This role focuses on market education, content creation, and shaping the future of AI in regulated industries.

You will bridge platform capabilities with market needs to ensure secure, compliant deployments. Based in our NYC office, you will develop reference architectures, lead pre-sales efforts without owning engagements, and collaborate with engineering on feasibility and roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions architecture, pre-sales, or similar role.
• Deep understanding of AI/LLM tech: RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering.
• Strong cloud architecture skills (AWS/Azure/GCP) including security.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and integration patterns.
• Hands-on coding in Python; familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks.

Job Overview

We're seeking a Solutions Architect who will serve as the technical voice of Athena in the market. This is not a traditional customer delivery role—you'll focus on building market awareness, creating technical content, and architecting the future of AI in regulated industries. You'll be the bridge between our platform's capabilities and what the market needs to understand about secure, compliant AI.

Core Responsibilities

Technical Content & Market Education

• Create high-impact technical content: blog posts, whitepapers, architecture diagrams, and video tutorials
• Build and maintain a library of reusable demos and proof-of-concepts showcasing Olympus capabilities
• Develop reference architectures and implementation patterns for common regulated industry use cases
• Publish thought leadership on secure AI deployment, compliance considerations, and best practices

Solution Architecture & Innovation

• Design future-state architectures demonstrating how AI transforms workflows in finance, legal, defense, and audit
• Prototype innovative use cases that push the boundaries of what's possible with LLMs in regulated environments
• Create technical blueprints that sales and partners can adapt for specific opportunities
• Stay current with AI/LLM advances and translate them into practical applications for our target markets

Pre-Sales & Technical Evangelism

• Present at industry conferences, webinars, and technical forums as Athena's technical authority
• Support strategic opportunities with technical expertise, without owning specific customer engagements
• Create technical collateral that enables sales and marketing teams to articulate our value proposition
• Participate in analyst briefings and industry discussions about AI in regulated industries

Product Strategy & Market Feedback

• Synthesize market trends and practitioner needs into product requirements
• Collaborate with engineering on feasibility and roadmap prioritization
• Test new features and provide feedback from a market perspective
• Document technical patterns that should become platform capabilities

Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• 5+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or similar role
• Deep understanding of AI/LLM technologies: RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering, fine-tuning
• Strong cloud architecture skills (AWS/Azure/GCP), including VPC deployments and security
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and integration patterns
• Hands-on coding ability in Python; familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks

Domain Knowledge

• Understanding of regulated industry requirements (finance, legal, government, healthcare)
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks: SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR
• Experience with enterprise security, data governance, and audit requirements

Communication & Content Creation

• Proven ability to create technical content that resonates with both technical and business audiences
• Portfolio of published technical content (blogs, videos, presentations) is a strong plus
• Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, from developers to executives

Location

This position is based in our New York City office. Athena Intelligence is a fully in-person and in-office team, working 5 days a week in the office. We believe in the power of face-to-face collaboration and maintaining a strong team culture through daily in-person interactions.
