Job summary

DP World is seeking a Solutions Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions within its global logistics network. You will design IT solutions, produce functional specifications, and work with multiple teams to implement projects that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of IT delivery experience in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years IT experience in Logistics/Supply Chain.
• Experience delivering complex Warehouse Management, Supply Chain and Logistics solutions in 3PL or WMS environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to think creatively and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Own IT solution architecture and design including engineering, operations and customer requirements.
• Produce Functional Specifications to support delivery of new projects and change requests.
• Facilitate solution design workshops with Customers, IT teams, Business Dev, Engineering and Operations.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs and document requirements with sign-offs.
• Collaborate across IT and business teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions considering geography, budget and resources.
• Support QA, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Assist deployments on site and during warranty periods; coordinate with operations and software development teams.
• Travel internationally to support customer deployments as required.

We are seeking a highly motivated Solutions Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design scalable solutions, and support the successful implementation of technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

As a Solutions Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying business challenges, translating requirements into functional specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

About the role:

• Responsibility for the IT solution architecture and design incorporating the engineering solution, operational and customer specific requirements.


• Responsible for producing the Functional Specifications to support the delivery of new business projects, business Change Requests and customer change requests.


• Working closely with Customers, IT Analyst team, Business Development teams, Engineering, Process Engineering & Operational teams, Facilitation of solution design workshops.


• Business Analysis, gap review, impact assessment and documentation of Functional Requirements.


• Design of practical, efficient, cost effective solutions providing options with benefits, risks, recommendations included. Solutions will need to be designed taking into consideration of geography, time, budget, resource, customer constraints, volumes, skills, available technologies


• Completion of Functional Specifications to meet solution design and customer requirements with appropriate sign-offs.


• Communication and liaison with all key stakeholders.


• Subject matter expert and point of contact for overall solution throughout the project life-cycle.


• Support/Assist project test phases – QA, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing.


• Facilitate and support onsite deployments through warranty periods.
  Liaison/point of contact between operations and software development team.


• Management, diagnosis and prioritization of issue logging in conjunction with IT Project Manager.


• Integration Analysis to support the Integration of DP World Application with Customer systems.


• Support of solution deployments from concept through live/warranty phase.
  Review and approval of delivered software prior to promotion into production environments


• Responsible for supporting delivery of projects through to closure of warranty phase.


• Candidates must be available to travel internationally to support customer deployments as and when required.

Eligibility Requirement

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science a related field or relevant industry experience (5+ years IT related role within Logistics/Supply Chain).

Experience: Proven Track record of 5+ years in delivery of complex Warehouse Management, Supply Chain and Logistics solutions within a 3PL or commercial WMS environment.

Personal skills: Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to apply creativity and critical thinking to problem solving solutions.
