Central Steel & Wire, a member of the Ryerson family, is seeking a Solutions Advisor to process orders, perform sales calls, and build customer relationships in Illinois.

You will collaborate with internal teams, read blueprints, use AutoCAD, and leverage MS Office to prepare accurate proposals. Salary is $31.68 to $39.60 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employer statement.

Qualifications

• Prior sales or industry experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.

As a Solutions Advisor with CS&W, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, making sales calls, and working to establish relationships with customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build territory/account approach and monitor resources
• Works with different departments to execute account development plans
• Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
• Identifies problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions
• Prioritizes concurrent customer's demands and provides satisfactory service to all
• Balances concurrent requests for assistance from internal and external customers for customer service issues
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

Salary: $31.68 - $39.60 per hour. A starting salary higher than $39.60 per hour is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
