About The Job

The Admissions Registrar is responsible for gathering, verifying, and documenting demographic and financial data on patients. The role requires demonstrating the mission, vision, beliefs, core values, and standards of behavior of the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Provide patients with information required by federal mandates, such as Patient Rights and Responsibilities, Advance Care Directives, and important messages from Medicare/Campus.
• Receive and provide shift reports at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Obtain consents, assignment of benefits, and releases.
• Gather information regarding religious preferences and affiliations.
• Practice safe patient transport.
• Initiate inquiries and ensure receipt of pre-certification and pre-authorization for services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; courses in typing, computer skills, and medical terminology preferred.
