Job Description:

About the Job:

Provides proper testing and education for in/outpatients following prescribed schedules, physician orders, competencies, and protocols. Utilizes proper equipment and procedures, protects patient’s confidentiality, and produces accurate and complete documentation for all activities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Performs all aspects of cardiac sonography within practice guidelines and approved hospital policy and procedures.
  • Coordinates with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients, and family in scheduling and providing testing.
  • Responds to all emergencies and assists with patient transports as required.

Who You Are:

  • Successful completion of an accredited Allied Health Program.
  • Current RDCS credential preferred. Requires minimum eligibility for RDCS Boards and/or potential to earn RDCS credential within 1 year required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure required.
  • Pediatric/neonatal experience a plus. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in echocardiography preferred.
