Diligent is seeking a Solution Engineer II to blend technology, business strategy, and customer engagement in a high-growth SaaS environment. You will partner with sales, deliver impactful demos, understand customer requirements, and guide solutions across the customer journey.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in relevant roles, strong communication, and the ability to translate business needs into technology.

Here’s a summary of the role

Do you enjoy combining technology, business strategy, and customer engagement to solve complex challenges? As a Solution Engineer II, you'll play a critical role in helping organizations understand how modern Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) solutions can transform the way they operate. You'll partner with sales teams, engage directly with senior stakeholders, deliver impactful software demonstrations, and become a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey. This is an opportunity to develop deep product expertise, influence strategic purchasing decisions, and accelerate your career in a high-growth SaaS environment.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff)

• Deliver engaging, consultative product demonstrations that address customer business challenges and goals
• Partner closely with Account Executives to drive the technical strategy behind new opportunities and support successful deal outcomes
• Work with customers to understand requirements and design solutions that align with their needs
• Present confidently to audiences ranging from operational users to executive stakeholders
• Collaborate with Product Management and other internal teams to share market feedback and support product innovation
• Represent Diligent through customer-facing events, webinars, and industry engagements

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview

• 3-5 years of experience in a Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or similar customer-facing technical role
• Proven experience delivering software demonstrations and presenting solutions to customers
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage audiences at all levels
• Experience working alongside sales teams to support complex software sales cycles
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, products, and business domains
• A proactive, self-driven approach with a passion for continuous learning and development

• Experience within Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Ethics & Compliance, Risk Management, or Third-Party Risk Management
• Experience working in a SaaS environment
• Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Gong, or similar sales enablement platforms
• Relevant certifications or specialist expertise in a compliance, risk, or governance domain
