Founded in 2014, TurningPoint has built a team of 400 leading healthcare experts, clinicians, and technologists helping customers in 33 states manage the health and wellness of 26M patient lives and $4B in medical expenditures each year. TurningPoint empowers health plans and providers to improve the quality, safety, and affordability of healthcare.

TurningPoint specializes in treating the most complex areas of care management including musculoskeletal, pain management, cardiology, wound care, oncology, ear/nose/throat, sleep, and implantable devices. Leveraging data analytics, AI, and machine learning as well as the latest advancements in telemedicine solutions, TurningPoint brings patients, providers, and health plans together to manage risk, lower costs, and drive better outcomes.

Role Overview

The Solution Delivery Director is responsible for guiding health plan clients through the end-to-end implementation of TurningPoint programs and services, serving as a mid-level bridge between complex business strategies, multi-tiered health plan client requirements, and technical execution. Acting as the primary implementation partner and trusted advisor for assigned health plan clients, this role has full ownership of a health plan client’s end-to-end program implementation, ensuring timelines, scopes, and health plan client program and product roadmaps stay tightly aligned.

In this high impact role, you will navigate ambiguity, orchestrate stakeholder relationships, resolve escalated conflicts, and drive organizational readiness. Furthermore, you will drive strategic backlog translation, mentor junior solution delivery team members, and proactively architect scalable implementation frameworks across the department.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Client Leadership & Implementation Ownership
  • Serve as the primary, executive-facing point of contact for assigned health plan clients, building trusted relationships across business, operations, clinical, technology, provider relations, reporting, and C-suite leadership.
  • Architect and steer the client implementation lifecycle by defining strategic milestones, high-impact decisions, resource models, dependencies, and aggressive readiness criteria.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and executive decision-making by proactively influencing key stakeholders, managing complex scope parameters, and resolving high-stakes enterprise friction.
  • Oversee the development and structural integrity of comprehensive project plans, multi-stream RAID logs, enterprise workflows, technical requirement documents, and executive dashboards.
  • Establish strict governance, clear ownership hierarchies, and enterprise delivery criteria, deploying advanced risk-mitigation strategies to unblock obstacles proactively.
2. Program Vision, Road mapping & Advanced Agile Execution
  • Own, define, and communicate program (product) vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with client partner goals and organizational targets.
  • Translate high-level, ambiguous business initiatives from health plan clients into detailed business requirements for the downstream development of the technical requirements, epics, and user stories.
  • Partner closely with Growth, Client Success, and/or Solution Delivery leadership to strategically govern, prioritize, and refine the enterprise implementation backlog, ensuring airtight acceptance criteria.
  • Provide “voice of the customer” guidance in high-level Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews) and mentor cross-functional teams on complex feature scope and architectural delivery trade-offs.
  • Ensure business validation for your assigned client of comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, establish advanced feature success metrics, and validate that completed solutions fully meet enterprise business objectives.
3. Program Readiness & Cross-Functional Orchestration
  • Partner with both client and internal team leadership to systematically prepare their people, operating models, workflows, and infrastructure for launch, closing readiness gaps with tailored enterprise execution frameworks.
  • Direct large-scale operational walkthroughs, change management and training plans, process validation frameworks, end-to-end testing support, go-live simulations, and multi-week stabilization roadmaps.
  • Coordinate seamlessly across Solution Architects, Product, Technology, Clinical, Operations, Claims, Provider Relations, Compliance, Finance, Analytics, and Client Success teams to synchronize cross-functional program (product) execution.
  • Design and facilitate cross-functional client and internal team workshops, alignment meetings, and working sessions to maintain strict momentum across complex development and deployment tracks.
4. Executive Communication & Departmental Scale
  • Synthesize intricate project statuses, cross-domain risks, technical dependencies, and strategic mitigation plans into concise, executive-ready updates for senior leadership.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to overhaul and scale implementation tools, standardized templates, departmental processes, and documentation libraries.
  • Actively onboard, mentor, and level up team members, embedding institutional knowledge and best practices to boost department-wide quality, consistency, and operational scalability.
