Job summary

LSEG Risk Intelligence is seeking a technical AML/Sanctions expert to support sales and client engagements across the Americas, acting as a SME on risk screening with Python/Java and API integrations.

You will collaborate with clients to design data pipelines, implement workflows, and tailor analytics using LSEG tools, translating complex technical concepts into business value while supporting the sales cycle. Travel across the Americas may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in AML and sanctions or third-party risk with a strong technical orientation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or other data processing/integration languages.
• Knowledge of data science concepts including wrangling, feature engineering, and model deployment.
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and enterprise data architectures.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for clients and stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; comfortable with compliance IT and leadership audiences.
• Experience in sales support or solution consulting and understanding sales processes.
• Knowledge of OFAC, FinCEN, FATF and financial crime due diligence standards.
• Willingness to travel across the Americas.

• Represent LSEG at industry events and client meetings, showcasing capabilities and thought leadership.
• Stay informed on regulatory trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings in financial crime risk.
• Champion the voice of the customer in product development and strategy discussions.

• Knowledge of key regulations (e.g., OFAC, FinCEN, FATF) and industry standards in financial crime and due diligence.
• Ability to travel across the Americas as needed.
