Next Gen Software Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect with deep IBM mainframe experience and modern AWS/Java/Spring Boot architecture in Woodlawn, MD. Qualifications

• 10+ years with IBM mainframe technologies (COBOL, PL/I, JCL, CICS, DB2).
• 5+ years architecting AWS solutions (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS PostgreSQL, IAM, KMS).
• Strong background in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and enterprise integration.
• Experience with AWS Mainframe Modernization or equivalent migration frameworks.
• Ability to design strangler fig migration patterns and coexistence architectures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with federal stakeholders.
• Must be able to work on site in Woodlawn, MD Monday Friday.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Solution Architect with deep experience in IBM mainframe environments and modern AWS/Java/Spring Boot architecture. This role supports modernization and integration efforts within the Social Security Administration s technology ecosystem.
