Job summary

Aquent Talent collaborates with a leading financial services organization to hire a visionary Architecture professional. You will design and build mission-critical, distributed solutions, shaping robust core systems and enabling seamless integration across platforms.

Lead the technical design, produce architectural documentation, and ensure performance in a mission-critical mid-tier environment while engaging diverse stakeholders across a complex organization.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years in a comparable technical role, with substantial time as an application architect or lead designer in a large enterprise.
• Deep understanding of web architecture, J2EE, messaging middleware, application integration, and development tooling.
• Hands-on development experience deploying large, distributed systems across multiple platforms.
• Experience with Java Application Servers (Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss) and core tech such as XML, MQ, JSP, JNDI, JMS, EJB, JDBC.
• Experience with Oracle database integration and integrating with legacy applications.
• Strong grasp of OO system architectures, UML, and RUP.
• Proven ability to write clear high- and mid-level architectural documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with database integration, including Oracle, and successfully integrating with legacy applications.


• Solid grasp of object-oriented system architectures, including use cases, Unified Modeling Language (UML), and Rational Unified Process (RUP).


• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive high-level and mid-level architectural documentation.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a complex environment.


• Awareness of emerging technologies and industry standards, with a proactive approach to learning and adaptation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in building robust frameworks for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) or Web Services initiatives.
