Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Java, Spring, cloud development, and Web Services (REST, SOAP) supporting high-volume transactions in a highly available environment.
• 2+ years of prior experience with ETL jobs or data pipelines and messaging frameworks.
• 1+ years of experience with continuous build processes using tools like Bamboo, Git, or similar.
• 1+ years of experience with Cloud Foundry, AWS, or GCP.
• 1+ years’ experience with distributed databases like MongoDB, Aerospike, Yugabyte, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Generative AI coding assistants used across SDLC workflows.

• Apply Generative AI to reduce context switching and accelerate delivery across typical workflows, including but not limited to new code development.
• Demonstrate practical familiarity with leading AI coding tools within IDE/CLI‐style workflows.
• Possess working knowledge of agentic workflows, spec‐driven development (translating low-level design artifacts into structured specs for AI-assisted implementation), and custom instructions and prompt engineering, with the ability to establish team‐level practices for effective AI-assisted development.

What You Bring:

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands‐on experience with Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services (REST, SOAP) supporting high‐volume transactions in a highly available environment.
• Demonstrated hands‐on experience with Generative AI coding assistants used across day‐to‐day engineering workflows in the SDLC—including implementation, refactoring, unit testing, regression support, code reviews, scripting/automation, troubleshooting, and documentation—while applying sound engineering judgment and validation.
• Practical familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is expected.
• 2+ years of prior experience with ETL jobs or data pipelines and messaging frameworks.
• 1+ years of experience with continuous build processes using tools like Bamboo, Git, or similar.
• 1+ years of experience with Cloud Foundry, AWS, or GCP.
• 1+ years’ experience working with distributed databases like MongoDB, Aerospike, Yugabyte, or PostgreSQL.

Nice‐to‐Have Qualifications:

• 1+ years of prior experience in IT transformations and system modernization initiatives, migrating from legacy to distributed platforms (e.g., Mainframe applications to Java applications).
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with the Atlassian tool stack (e.g., Jira).
• Experience with the .NET framework and programming tools (e.g., Visual Studio) and C#.
• Experience with RabbitMQ.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Experience in Test Driven Development.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems creatively.
