Job summary

Uline in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a Solution Analyst - Business Intelligence to drive analytics across North America. You will deliver custom data warehousing solutions and help shape the future of analytics for our leading distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials.

Responsibilities include evaluating business needs, defining requirements, creating data process documentation, collaborating with stakeholders for data accuracy, and training users on BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and requirements gathering.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and analytical concepts.
• Strong SQL skills; Power BI and Informatica knowledge a plus.

Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate business needs, establish requirements and recommend impactful data warehousing solutions across our growing company.

• Create and maintain documents for data processes and models such as Scope Analysis, Source to Target Mappings and Conceptual Data Models.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Train and support users on leveraging business intelligence tools effectively.

• Support data quality and governance initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, requirements gathering and assisting user testing.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing and analytical concepts.

• Strong SQL skills. Power BI and Informatica knowledge a plus.
