Job summary

Brhino Search is conducting a confidential search on behalf of an established, publicly traded technology company headquartered in South Florida. This is a solo individual contributor seat covering SEC reporting and technical accounting, reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer / VP of Finance.

What You'll Own: Preparation of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K for a public filer. Technical accounting research, memo writing, and standard interpretation (ASC 606 revenue recognition is central;

Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• Direct experience preparing SEC filings at a public company (not audit-only).
• Big 4 or strong regional public accounting foundation preferred.
• Comfortable operating as a solo IC with no direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K for a public filer.
• Technical accounting research, memo writing, and standard interpretation (ASC 606 revenue recognition is central; ASC 842 lease accounting a plus).
• SOX / internal controls over financial reporting.
• Direct working relationship with the CAO — no team layer, no delegation, full ownership of the function.
