Position Description

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver in Pearl River, LA. Join us and enjoy competitive pay and benefits.

Compensation and Schedule:

1. Weekly pay: $1400 or more
2. Pay per mile: $0.62 - $1.35 based on trip length (1200-1700 miles/week)
3. Pay per stop: $21.00 (2-4 stops daily)
4. Per diem: $50/night (1 night out/week)
5. Safety bonus: $300 quarterly
6. Schedule: 6-day workweek, 1 day off, work weekends & holidays
7. Start time: 9:00PM - 3:00AM dispatch

Responsibilities include regional delivery within a 500-mile radius of Pearl River, LA, primarily grocery freight requiring unloading assistance, and securing loads. Equipment includes manual pallet jacks, reefer trailers, and day cabs.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and DOT physical
• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements
• Experience: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws/regulations
