Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Edison, NJ.

Compensation details:

• Weekly Guarantee: $1446
• Pay per mile: $0.67 (1200-1700 miles/week)
• Pay per stop: $25.75 (7-10 stops/week)
• Paid training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, start time between 1:00 am - 6:00 am

Route details:

• Deliveries along NJ Eastern Seaboard, up to MA down to MD
• Home daily
• Tractor type: Automatic Day Cabs
• Trailer: 53' Dry Van, 28' Pups
• Equipment: Manual Pallet Jacks
• Freight: Touch Freight - Commissary Freight

Truck info:

• Trucks are 36 months or newer
• Includes 24/7 roadside maintenance
• Company drivers fuel trucks at over 800 facilities nationwide

Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, DOT physical, and road test
• Valid CDL with endorsements
• Verifiable Class A experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws/regulations

Responsibilities include ensuring safety compliance, maintaining logs, loading/unloading freight, and other duties as assigned.
