Job summary

The Scenic Route in Pacoima, CA is seeking a Solidworks Draftsperson to join its design-build production team. You will draft for technical design/engineering of scenic elements and supervise fabrication projects to meet client vision.

Collaborate with designers and managers, ensure schedules are met, and work on-site daily. The role requires SolidWorks, AutoCAD and SketchUp experience, plus strong communication skills and willingness to work long hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience or college equivalent.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Google Sketchup.
• Fabrication experience with wood and metal and familiarity with a variety of construction materials is
• Ability to work long hours when needed. Full-time on-site role, available to work in our office in Pacoima, CA daily
• Good communication skills.

Solidworks Draftspeople work with the TSR design team to design and engineer construction projects for conceptual design and fabrication. Other duties may include supervising and consulting throughout the fabrication process.
