Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Engineering Drafter / SolidWorks Specialist in Natick, MA to convert legacy 2D drawings into detailed 3D SolidWorks models and assemblies. You will ensure accurate BOMs within Windchill and maintain design intent across CAD data.

The role requires 3+ years of SolidWorks experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and a solid grasp of ASME Y14.5 GD&T. This position supports DoD programs and requires US citizenship with CAC eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Drafting & Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience preferred in CAD drafting/SolidWorks projects.
• US Citizenship; CAC eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy 2D AutoCAD drawings to fully parameterized 3D SolidWorks models.
• Build complex constrained 3D assemblies and robust mating strategies.
• Generate and validate BOMs within SolidWorks and Windchill.
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 standards and ensure data integrity in PLM.
