CertiK is seeking an experienced Solidity Compiler Frontend Engineer to advance compiler infrastructure and formal verification tools. You will design frontend components, improve error reporting, and integrate with verification suites, shaping Solidity language features.

The role emphasizes collaboration with security researchers and ongoing maintenance of compiler tooling, with a strong focus on performance and correctness in a blockchain security context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Solidity compiler development or similar compiler projects.
• Strong Java proficiency with compiler development and optimization.
• Solid foundation in parsing, type systems, and IRs.
• Experience with formal verification tools or methods.
• Strong understanding of the EVM and smart contract execution.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Solidity frontend components: lexical analysis, parsing, AST, semantic checks.
• Improve compiler performance and error reporting.
• Build integration layers between the Solidity compiler and formal verification tools.
• Contribute to Solidity language features and spec evolution.
• Collaborate with security researchers on static analysis and checks.
• Maintain and improve existing compiler infrastructure.
