Job summary

CertiK is seeking a Security Engineer to contribute to security-related services at the intersection of cybersecurity and blockchain. You will identify vulnerabilities in blockchain smart contracts, summarize attack vectors, and develop tools for code analysis as part of CertiK’s security offerings.

Responsibilities include audits of smart contracts, evaluating attack models, and staying current with analysis tools and trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering with 3+ years of work experience.
• Familiarity with fundamental information security concepts.
• Proficiency in Solidity, Go, Rust, C++, Python, or Node.js, and knowledge of common algorithms.
• Strong English reading/writing skills in an English-speaking environment.
• Passion for blockchain and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Audit blockchain smart contracts by identifying, analyzing, and remediating security vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate attack models for blockchain security.
• Summarize exploited code characteristics to build feature code analysis tools.
• Research tools and stay updated on emerging technologies.
