CertiK is seeking a Senior Blockchain Security Engineer to safeguard Web3 projects by auditing code, building security tools, and driving research. You will audit smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and dApps, and collaborate with external teams to implement remediation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Security.
• Minimum 3 years as Software/Security Engineer or related role.
• At least 2 years with blockchain technologies (smart contracts, nodes, protocols).
• Strong threat modeling, risk assessment, and security analysis.
• Proficiency in Rust, Go, Solidity, Python, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Audit and review codebases for smart contracts, protocols, and dapps to identify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with external blockchain teams to enhance security and remediation.
• Conduct independent security research and reveal actionable insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain internal security tools and frameworks.
• Improve processes, methodologies, and services while ensuring client satisfaction.
