Job summary

Collier County is seeking a qualified candidate to perform customer service and cashiering at the County's Landfill, Transfer Station, and Recycling Centers. You will screen and process waste loads, collect payments, maintain records, and support scalehouse operations with accuracy and safety compliance.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and one year of related experience; fingerprinting is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers at Solid & Hazardous Waste Management facilities.
• Answers division telephones and assists callers with questions regarding programs and procedures.
• Responds to solid and hazardous waste customer complaints and inquiries regarding waste acceptance procedures, hours of operation, directions, and related matters.
• Provides forms, applications, receipts, and other documents to visitors/customers and assists with completing forms.
