As a Civil Engineer at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you'll manage civil and environmental engineering projects related to solid waste facilities. Your responsibilities will include preparing, reviewing, and compiling permit applications, proposals, and technical reports; managing engineering tasks such as airspace and soil volume calculations, slope stability and settlement analysis, stormwater management system design, leachate management system design, and landfill gas collection system design; and overseeing Construction Quality Assurance projects including landfill cell liner/leachate collection systems, gas collection systems, cap construction, and environmental monitoring of landfill facilities. You will collaborate with office and field staff, clients, regulators, and contractors, contributing to the overall success of landfill design, permitting, and construction projects.
