Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a Scientist with solid-state characterization expertise to support pharmaceutical material and drug product development. You will analyze APIs, intermediates, excipients, and drug products using XRPD, Raman, DSC, TGA, FTIR, and KF moisture analysis.

Ideal candidates hold a BS or MS in Chemistry or related fields with 2–5 years of relevant experience, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant solid-state characterization experience in pharma or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with XRPD, Raman, DSC, TGA, FTIR, and KF moisture analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct solid-state characterization studies to evaluate pharmaceutical materials.
• Perform routine and investigative analyses using solid-state and spectroscopic techniques.
• Characterize crystalline, amorphous, hydrate, and solvate forms of drug substances.
• Interpret data, prepare concise technical summaries, and communicate findings to teams.
• Maintain accurate lab records and ensure data integrity.
