Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory seeks an intern to support the Hydrogen & Electrochemistry team. The role includes electrochemical testing, system design/validation, and materials characterization for solid oxide devices used to generate electricity or hydrogen.

It is onsite on a 9x80 schedule; start date and duration vary. Qualifications: full-time enrollment in an undergrad/grad Eng program (Chem/Electrical/Materials/Mechanical) with a 3.0 GPA; U.S.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with design/manufacture/testing of solid oxide devices is preferred.
• Experience with experimental systems including fluid and thermal flow, data processing, or electrical instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support electrochemical testing and materials characterization.
• Assist with system design, validation, and testing.
• Contribute to development of solid oxide devices for electricity or hydrogen production.
