Allfast Fastening Systems LLC in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Solid Header Operator Trainee for 2nd shift (1:30pm-10:00pm). You will assist the header operator with daily production workload and help ensure the machines produce quality precision aircraft fasteners in a clean, safe work area.

The role requires reading parts numbers and blueprints, using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, comparators, protrusion gauges), performing data entry for work orders, and learning SPC and

Qualifications

Education includes high school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
Experience not required; 0–2 years mechanical experience acceptable.
Requires ability to read blueprints and part numbers, use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

Assist header operator with daily production workload.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

To assist header operator with daily production workload and insure running machine are producing quality precision aircraft quality fastener. Keep work area in clean and orderly fashion.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies

Learn parts number and how to read
blueprint
Learn how to use all measuring instruments required to check parts. (comparator, micrometers, caliper, protrusion gage and various other inspect gage.)
Performs scanning work order transacts for PowerBi. Maintain more than 95% Utilization.
Learn to start and stop header and prepared material wires.
Learn Statistical Process Control (SPC) and charts.
Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping 5 S, and follows safety procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $24.00-$38.46.

Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location.
