Job Title & Shift

Skilled Progressive Header Operator – 2nd shift (1:30–10:00 pm) with shift differential.

Job Summary

Set up and operate multi‑die headers for manufacturing precision aircraft‑quality fasteners.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret documents (blueprints, drawings, or manufacturing work orders) to determine necessary tools and materials for producing products to aircraft specification.
  • Set up and operate all assigned headers and tools on a production basis, ensuring all settings and adjustments meet specifications.
  • Select, mount, and align tooling attachments and materials in the correct order and relationship.
  • Make all adjustments required to produce parts of acceptable quality.
  • Load machines with raw material and monitor production runs using measuring devices such as comparators, micrometers, calipers, and other inspection gauges.
  • Rework and direct reworking of tooling as needed.
  • Maintain accurate statistical process control records for each job and make adjustments during the production run as SPC data indicates.
  • Meet and maintain all productivity levels and quality requirements to support departmental goals and schedules.
  • Provide training to departmental personnel for all aspects of machine set‑up and operation.
  • Perform minor preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
  • Keep accurate records, perform data entry, maintain housekeeping, and follow safety regulations.
  • Work on‑site five days per week at the City of Industry, CA location.
Qualifications
  • Experience in heading aircraft‑quality fasteners on multi‑die machines (4‑die and 5‑die Progressive Header) required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
Compensation

Pay range: $24.00–$46.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Additional incentives, such as equity, commissions, or other variable performance‑related bonuses, may apply.
