Job summary

IYC seeks a Sole Engineer for a 40m motor yacht. Immediate start in the US. You will maintain and troubleshoot all vessel systems and manage preventative maintenance and engineering operations to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate has prior experience on similar-sized yachts, strong technical knowledge, and is proactive, organized and safety-focused. Visa may be required (B1/B2) for U.S. waters; smoking policies vary by yacht.

We are after a Sole Engineer for a 40m MY. Min qualifications: Y4 preferred. Valid B1B2. Immediate start in the US. The ideal candidate will have previous engineering experience on similar-sized yachts, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to maintain and troubleshoot all vessel systems to the highest standards. Candidates should be proactive, organized, safety-focused, and capable of managing preventative maintenance, repairs, and engineering operations. This will suit a candidate who is happy to based in the US for an extended period of time.
