Qualifications

• Soldering experience: through-hole and SMT techniques.

• Strong fine motor skills with a quality-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand soldering and rework of electronic components, including through-hole and surface mount (SMT).
• Assemble and modify PCBs and cable assemblies per specifications; perform wire stripping, tinning, cable routing, and component placement.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate builds.
• Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies for quality and IPC compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective assemblies; conduct continuity testing and basic functional checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand soldering and rework of electronic components, including through-hole and surface mount (SMT) parts

• Assemble and modify PCBs and cable assemblies per specifications; perform wire stripping, tinning, cable routing, and component placement
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate builds
• Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies for quality and IPC compliance
• Troubleshoot and repair defective assemblies; conduct continuity testing and basic functional checks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations; document work performed and keep accurate production records
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines and quality goals

Qualifications

• Soldering experience: Through-hole and SMT techniques preferred

• Technical documentation: Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawings
• Hand tools & inspection equipment: Experience with microscopes and related inspection tools

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification a plus
